the world is going through a dark season, lets all try to spread as much light, joy, and kindness to cheer each other up :)
write a small thank you note to the delivery driver.
delivery drivers are working extra hard to deliver packages, put a small sticky note on your mailbox or front porch to say thank you for all of their hard work.
write a letter to your loved ones
not many people send handwritten letters anymore, so it will be a nice surprise when they open the mailbox and find one from you!
donate to your favorite charity
many charities are working hard to provide necessities during this challenging time. if you are not financially able to donate, please help them by using your social media platforms to spread the word about their organization and mission.
go through your home
many charitable organizations collect household items, such as towels, clothes, furniture… if you have extra free time go through your closets and drawers, and start a donation pile. if you find extra medical supplies, consider donating them to local hospitals or nursing homes.
prepare bags for the homeless
yes the homeless need financial support, but they also need everyday basic hygienic items. If you have extra time on your hands, prepare bags for them. I first saw this idea on @mrbobbyones instagram and thought it was brilliant! fill bags with necessary items like water bottles, washcloths, bar soap, granola bars, and pass one out next time you see someone in need.
hope you find these ideas helpful, if you have any ideas not mentioned in this post, please share them with me, either in the comments section or on my instagram (@jordanartistry).
