Working in the beauty industry, a lot of people express they're insecurities to me. It makes me sad seeing how one little thing, such as a crooked nose, can make someone hate their appearance. Insecurities lead to lack of self esteem and confidence, which often lead to bigger social and relationship problems in one's life. In this post I share a few tips for feeling more confident and breaking down your comfort zones, hope you find it helpful!
observe other confident people
observe (and take notes) from other confident people. how do they walk? how do they interact with others in conversations? do they talk with their hands? you can even observe people you don't know, like a celebrity or a YouTuber
break little comfort zones
practice acting confident throughout your every day life, for example try smiling at random people at the grocery store, starting a conversation with someone in front of you in a line, wear a bold lipstick to walk your dog... when you practice breaking little confidence comfort zones, you learn how to break bigger ones!
tell yourself that you are confident
telling yourself that you are shy or an introvert, is giving yourself an excuse to be more shy or introverted. start telling yourself, "I am confident, people want to talk to me, I am a fun person to be around..." even if you don't believe it (yet!)
don't be afraid to laugh at yourself
The first time you try something a confident person would feel comfortable doing, mishaps may happen. For example if you are speaking in public and you mess your speech up, try laughing it off! Truly confident people understand that mistakes happen for everyone, and life is too short to be embarassed over every little mishap.
know that not many people are actually judging you
you may feel like the whole world is judging you, but honestly most people are so hypercritical of themselves, they aren't even paying attention to you. practice being confident in just being you!

Hope you have an amazing day,
I've been following a vegan diet for several years now, a lot of people ask me about it, so I thought I'd dedicate a blog post sharing my tips, to help those who want to change their diet entirely vegan or simply towards a more plant based diet :)
you have the opportunity to impact everyone you meet. one of my favorite teachers and best friends (she just doesn't know it yet, haha!), dr.elizabeth lambaer, said the greatest lesson her mother taught her was ¨everywhere you go you are going to touch somebody's life, so make it for the better". these words have had such a huge impact on my life, so I wanted to share them with you!
When I discovered meditation, my life changed. I recommend meditation for everyone. We live in such a busy and fast paced world, it feels so good to take time to rest your mind and body. Meditation helps me sleep better, stress less, focus more, and overall feel happier :) I am so thankful that I discovered and placed meditation into my life.
discovering your passion can transform your life.
if you are feeling "lost", "lazy", or "bored" in life, you may not be connected with your passions...and that is fine! you are exactly where you need to be in your journey, but if you would like (and are willing) to live a more passionate and exciting life, keep reading :)
