I have done Jade Rolling for a month now and wanted to share my experience with you all :) Even though this beauty tool has been around for over 2000 years, it is now becoming mainstream. After seeing lots of instagram pictures and reading countless reviews online, I decided to try it for myself!
I bought this roller from Sonia Kashuk´s, Spring Collection at Target (around $15), but you can purchase them from pretty much anywhere :) To be honest, I was a little nervous to use my jade roller...the tool itself looks kinda scary, haha! The jade roller is designed to have one large roller side for larger areas (neck, jawline, cheeks, forehead) and a smaller side for little areas of the face (lips, around the nose, under eyes). Jade Rollers claim to boost blood circulation, reduce swelling, and help skincare products absorb deeper.
At first creating the rolling motion was awkward, but I got the hang of it quickly. I didn´t notice any immediate toning results in my facial appearance. Surprisingly the biggest benefit I found was that it relieved the tension near my eye brows and temples, due to the roller´s massaging properties.
After a month...
After using the jade roller for an entire month, I came to the conclusion that this tool does reduce swelling and inflammation. On days that my under eyes are a bit puffy, it helps to reduce the puffiness and tired appearance. (granted any massager should do this, especially if it is designed for the under eye area).
I will continue to use my jade roller. Personally I don´t believe that this tool is the ¨holy grail” of all beauty tools, but I do think it may be beneficial for many, especially because it is accessible, affordable, and simple to use.
I hope you all enjoyed this review, please let me know if you have tried jade rolling and your experience with it, I would love to hear! Hope you have a great day, talk to you soon! xx
